CA Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program Goes LIVE!

Some Relief is on the Way!

At CFTA, we want to make sure you have access to policy as quickly as possible that could impact your business or livelihood. Here is a recap of the program and now details on 

how to apply!

California recently announced a $500 million Small Business Covid-19 Relief Grant program for eligible small business owners, nonprofits, and cultural institutions who have been 

impacted by COVID-19 and the health and safety restrictions. Grants up to $25,000 will be given to eligible small businesses and nonprofits to help cover expenses during the 

pandemic.

The new website, www.CAReliefGrant.com , is now live! Visit to review your eligibility, prepare your business documents and get ready to apply. Applications for Round 1 will open 

on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, and close end of day on Friday, January 8. Round 2 will be announced in the near future.

Key Dates - Initial Launch Schedule

December 23:

8am – Go live time for CAReliefGrant.com, the official website for small businesses to GET READY TO APPLY!

By 8:15am – CalOSBA launches social media posts for amplification

By 8:30am – CalOSBA sends mass email to all who signed up for updates, stakeholders and partners

9:00am – Lendistry holds partner marketing meeting and partners are authorized to launch outreach materials including announcement of a daily webinar (note –    additional 

marketing materials will be shared by Lendistry today)

December 23 - January 4: Daily Webinars

December 30: Launch of applications for first round

January 8: Close of applications for first round

to creating and serving your community.
